For general wiring of houses; farm buildings; retail outlets and retail outlets. It’s flame and moisture resistant; but must not be utilized in wet locations. Type NM-B is primarily utilized in residential wiring as branch circuits’ for outlets; switches; and other lots. NM-B can be utilized for both exposed and concealed work in dry locations at conductor temperatures to not exceed 90oC. Ampacity limited to 60oC for conductors
