NO, Air Curtain is not an Air Conditioner, it does not generate cold air. It is a powerful FAN only to isolate the interior and exterior environment.

Can the Magnetic Switch install on the sliding door?

Yes, The included Magnetic Switch can be easily installed in any kind of doors/windows, it does not need to alternate the door frame.

Outdoor Installation VS Indoor Installation.

We recommend installing the air curtain indoors so that it can blow the interior conditioned air. If the air curtain is not reachable by rain, snow, and water, you can install it outdoors.
